Our Story

Food was never just about necessity in my family. It was a means of spending time together, giving thanks, showing love, and sometimes a warm apology. My mom would spend several hours of her precious days off cooking dinner for my family. I never understood why she'd pour so much effort into a single dinner until one day, during my junior year of high school, I decided to bake cookies for my friends.

Their eyes lit up and smiles erupted at their first bite. I was hooked. Cookies and brownies became a daily thing. Only then did I understand why my mom would work so hard to gift my family with a delicious meal. Now I'm hoping to use my baking skills to provide the same deliciousness, joy, and care my mom has given me.

Dang Good Pies operates as a licensed home-based cottage food operation. That means smaller batches, a shorter menu, and a lot more attention paid to each item that goes out the door.
